Generation Now VBS 2026: Five Days of Hope, Faith, and Lasting Impact in Tsame Toti, Togo July 13–17, 2026

At Generation Now Africa, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. This summer, God opened another incredible door for us to do exactly that through our 2026 Vacation Bible School (VBS).

In partnership with Kpodzi Baptist Church, we hosted a five-day VBS in Tsame Toti, Togo, at a new church plant. What began as a vision to serve the community became a powerful week of ministry that impacted hundreds of children and their families.

A Week Filled with Joy and the Gospel

Every day was packed with exciting activities designed to engage children while pointing them to Christ. The program included:

● Interactive Bible lessons

● Worship and singing

● Games and team activities

● Crafts and learning experiences

● Lunch provided each day

● Opportunities to build friendships in a safe and loving environment

Each morning, our team traveled to transport children from surrounding areas, ensuring they had the opportunity to attend regardless of distance. Seeing vehicles filled with excited children each day was a reminder that the Gospel is worth every effort.

Lives Touched for Eternity

Throughout the week, 307 children attended VBS. More importantly, every child heard the Gospel clearly presented. Many heard the Good News of Jesus Christ for the very first time.

By God’s grace, many children made decisions to follow Christ, others renewed their commitment to Him, and countless seeds of faith were planted that will continue to grow through the ministry of the local church.

Hosting the VBS at a new church plant also strengthened the ministry by introducing families to the church and creating opportunities for ongoing discipleship and community outreach.

Looking Ahead

The 2026 VBS marked the first phase of our Summer Outreach Initiative. As we celebrate what God has done, we are already preparing for the next opportunity to reach even more young people through sports outreach and community evangelism.

We believe that when children encounter the love of Christ at a young age, families are strengthened, churches are encouraged, and communities are transformed.
