Christmas Joy in Togo
This Christmas season, Generation Now hosted impactful Christmas events across communities in Togo, reaching approximately 544 children from vulnerable and underserved backgrounds with the message and love of Christ. We shared the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of Jesus Christ—and many children heard the gospel, with several accepting Jesus Christ on Christmas Day. What a joy!
Alongside the gospel message, we distributed simple gifts that meant a great deal to the children. Though the gifts were only candy, cookies, and juice, the children were full of excitement and gratitude, showing how much these small acts of love mattered to them.
In Togo, Christmas is less about gifts and more about communion and community. Families and neighbors share meals, and children often go from house to house eating together, similar to a trunk-or-treat experience in the U.S. Embracing this tradition, our celebrations included soccer tournaments for young players, followed by shared meals, creating joy, unity, and meaningful gospel impact throughout the community.
To God be the Glory!
Please pray and consider supporting Generation Now Ministry as we continue reaching children and youth with the gospel.
